SNSD Advertises Pink Rubber Gloves?

Girls’ Generation (SNSD)’s pink gloves from its recent Paparazzi music video reminded us of Korean rubber gloves .

Well, we weren’t the only ones, as home shopping advertisements for the dishwashing product have sprung up on the internet, featuring the girls themselves.

However, this was all the work of a talented and witty fan, who put together a graphic and uploaded it on online communities.

The graphic shows the members all talking a little bit about the rubber gloves and how effective they are, the faces of each member matching perfectly with the captions. In the last photo, the entire group says, “SoShi Rubber Gloves, Hurry and click!”

The actual images were taken from SNSD’s yogurt commercial, and the fan was clever enough to photoshop pairs of rubber gloves over where the yogurt bottle originally was, making the fake advertisement seem almost real.

Netizens, who saw the graphic, commented, “Where can I buy these SoShi Gloves?” “SNSD Home Shopping version is so hilarious,” and “I wish this was real.”

‘Ice Princess’ SNSD Jessica Loves Ice Cream and Patbingsoo

Recently interviewed by Fashion & Lifestyle magazine, @star1, Girls’ Generation (SNSD) Jessica shared that she really enjoys eating ice cream and patbingsoo (shaved ice with red beans).



Dubbed the ‘Ice Princess’ by the media and the general public for her emotionless faces at times, Jessica said, “I enjoy eating ice cream and patbingsoo in the winter, so I’ll probably continue eating it this summer.”

She also added, “I’m honestly a bit scared of summer. I’m afraid of how it will be this summer. I guess I have to withstand [the heat] somewhere cool with ice cream and patbingsoo.”





During the interview, she also talked about her recently blossoming acting career with KBS’ Wild Romance starring Lee Dong Wook and Lee Si Young. When asked about what she thinks about the solo careers of the other SNSD members, she replied that she was very proud of them.





“Although we have a lot of solo activities right now, that’s not to say we forgot about SNSD. There are still lots of things the nine of us have to do.”

SNSD Sooyoung Praises Yuri and Jessica’s Acting

urrently preparing for her official acting debut in the upcoming tvN drama, The Third Hospital, Girls’ Generation (SNSD) talked about the acting career of her fellow members as well as her own.



Caught in a paparazzi concept pictorial, Sooyoung showed off her natural beauty and gorgeous fashion style on Fashion & Lifestyle magazine, @star1 for its July edition.

Whether she was walking the dog, sniffing the sweet scent of perfume, or making herself look beautiful in front of the mirror, Sooyoung seemed to be having a pleasant time.



During the interview for @star1, she talked about the recent success of her fellow members’ acting careers.

“Yuri and Jessica recently made their debut as drama actors. I cheered them on a lot. Despite it being their first time, they did so well that I was really surprised.” She said, “Yoona has been acting for a really long time, so she already shaped her own style.”




When asked if she was afraid of getting compared to the other members, Sooyong replied, “I don’t feel burdened about getting compared with the other girls. I think I just need to do my best to reveal my own personality.”





She added, “Before I became a singer, I actually tried for many auditions for acting because I had a dream of becoming an actress. I want to keep challenging myself not just as a singer, but as an actress.”

Taeyeon Attends Live Event for ‘Athena’ at Saitama Super Arena

Popular Korean drama “Athena” had a live event that took place on January 7th at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan.  Among those who attended the event include “Athena” cast members Cha Seungwon, Sooae, and Choi Siwon.  K-pop artists with connections to the drama were also present, such as Super Junior, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, and SHINee (minus Onew who was absent due to a fever).  30,000 people came to this event, showing their support and enthusiasm for both performances, one occurring during the day and the other in the evening. During the event’s press conference, Taeyeon shared her thoughts on being at the Saitama Super Arena for the first time without her fellow Girls’ Generation members.  ”Girls’ Generation has performed at Saitama Super Arena before, so it is a place that holds a lot memories for us,” said Taeyeon, who looked a little uneasy being alone on stage.  ”Being on such a spacious stage by myself feels a little bit lonely.

Behind-The-Scenes Footage of Girls’ Generation’s Freestyle Sports CF Released

Behind-the-scenes footage of the filming for Girls’ Generation’s “FreeStyle Sports” CF has just recently released. In the video, Yoona is seen laughing as she is filmed running, while Sooyoung threw sand into the air and donned a pair of goalie gloves. Finally, Jessica and Hyoyeon are shown playing basketball, where Jessica even managed to score a basket. All the members could be seen smiling and having fun as they posed for photos and videos. The video ends with a trailer of the CF. Wallpapers featuring Girls’ Generation were also released through the official website of “FreeStyle Sports”.
