The Girls’ Japanese Repackaged Album Releases (Picture)

‘Time Machine”s lyrics and translation

It’s over, guess it’s over
One mistake, got a one regret
I need a time machine oh
I need a time machine oh
Just one mistake, just one regret
I need a time machine
Yeah 2
Gimme a time machine oh
Gimme a time machine oh
Gimme a time machine

Translation
Alone in the room that is more spacious than usual
It’s over, guess it’s over
The story created by the two of us was also in vain
I can’t believe it could crumble so easily
One mistake, got a one regret
Nobody is perfect
Even if I try to say and hear it
The pain won’t heal no matter what
Right now, if I could ride a time machine
and go to meet you
I wouldn’t wish for anything else
Before the memories become distant and fleeting…
I need a time machine oh
I need a time machine oh
Time slows to a crawl when I’m by myself
The punishment for my mistake is severe
The last words that you left behind
Even now, I can’t stop [re-playing] the refrain
My heart still hurts
Just one mistake, just one regret
Even now, I still love you selfishly
Right now, if I could ride a time machine
and go to meet you
I wouldn’t wish for anything else
Before the memories become distant and fleeting…
I need a time machine
If I’m able to meet you passing through time and space
Even if it’s heading to
The same conclusion, I’m sure
There won’t be any regrets remaining
Right now, if I could ride a time machine
and go to meet you
I wouldn’t wish for anything else
Before the memories become distant and fleeting…
Yeah, before the memories of us are forgotten…
Gimme a time machine oh
Gimme a time machine oh
Gimme a time machine

Girls’ Generation Ranked First for the Third Year in a Row in Polls

End of the year polls and surveys are recognizing Girls’ Generation’s talent and popularity. For the respected Gallup Korea poll, the singer of the year for 2011 is Girls’ Generation. Gallup Korea gathered votes from people from the ages of 13 to 59 about the three singers voters felt were the most active. Out of 3401 votes, Girls’ Generation had the most with 26.1%, landing them in first place for the third year in a row. The group was first among each age bracket, truly showing their title as “Nation’s Idol”.
This year Girls’ Generation got number one for six weeks in a row on KBS “Music Bank” with their single, “The Boys”. They also had a successful entrance into Japan ranking fifth for the highest CD/DVD sales in the country. Girls’ Generation shows that their number one ranking for three years in a row has been well earned.
For 2011′s most popular song, Girls’ Generation’s “The Boys” was in third place with 2.7% of the votes.

Not only was Girls’ Generation ranked first in the Gallup poll, but in Sports Hankooki’s poll as well. For the third year in a row, the group has become the best star in Korea’s entertainment industry. 30 out of 100 experts from Sports Hankooki’s entertainment section chose Girls’ Generation as “This Year’s Star”, getting them the grand prize. While leading the K-Pop boom in Europe and the United States, they were judged highly for still receiving lots of love from Koreans. Girls’ Generation has taken the top spot since 2009, and since the first survey in 2005, Girls’ Generation is the first to win three times in a row.
Finally, Girls’ Generation was ranked fourth in the survey “Pop Culture Power Leader Big 30″, which charts the most powerful and influential people in the entertainment industry. Among people like SM Entertainment’s Lee Soo Man(1), the “Nation’s MC” Yoo Jae Suk(3), and YG CEO Yang Hyun-Seok(5), Girls’ Generation is considered to be extremely important in the spread of Korean culture globally. In the same survey last year they were also ranked fourth.

Confiscated Phones and Learning to Dance on the Next ‘Girls’ Generation and the Dangerous Boys’

On the next episode of “Girls’ Generation and the Dangerous Boys”, the boys will be entering dorm life together. But first, they must pass inspection from Girls’ Generation members. Girls’ Generation inspected the boys’ personal belongings for any prohibited items and confiscated cell phones and cigarettes. This brought memories back for Girls’ Generation as the members agreed, “this is similar to our trainee days.” Prior to their debut, the members also had their phones confiscated and received intense training.
In return for having their personal items taken, the boys received new phones from Girls’ Generation that are to be used to contact their mentors. Girls’ Generation showed their sense of responsibility by saying they would continue to keep in touch with the boys even if they won’t be able to see them all the time.

As if having their phones taken from them wasn’t harsh enough, the boys will have to dance to “The Boys”. They will be entering the dance competition “Street Jam”, which is where the best dancers in Korea go to show their skills. Despite their busy schedules, Girls’ Generation members made a surprise visit to help the boys learn their intense and challenging choreography. It was the boys’ first time dancing, so Girls’ Generation put them through a “basic test”, but their dancing skills turned out to be hopeless. They have plenty of time to practice though, as the “Street Jam” competition is held on February 5th.
The next episode of “Girls’ Generation and the Dangerous Boys” will air on December 25th at 7:30pm KST on jTBC.

Seohyun Loses Her Temper on ‘Girls’ Generation and the Dangerous Boys’

On the new JTBC variety program, “Girls’ Generation and the Dangerous Boys”, Girls’ Generation will be helping the “Dangerous Boys” and watch them mature and transform. They will be acting as mentors and will be providing the boys with personal advising sessions and training.
Seohyun, who is known as the “Girl Who Lives by the Rules”, lost her temper on the first day she met the “Dangerous Boys”.
Seohyun kept a stiff face when she was viewing the lives of the boys through a monitor. After the video clip, she showed her pity saying, “I think the boys are living without dreams or thoughts.”
Though she remained calm during the personal advising session during which the boys answered with careless words, Seohyun later surprised everyone when she exploded with anger by saying, “You shouldn’t live like this.”
Seohyun later showed her determination and said, “I’m upset that the boys seem to live without thinking about anything and without a dream,” and, “I want to find a dream for the boys.”
The first broadcast of “Girls’ Generation and the Dangerous Boys” will air on December 18th.
